About Elena

Hi, my name is Elena and I will be glad if my work finds a response in your hearts.

I spend every day trying to be better myself as an Artist. My main goal is to reveal all the beauty of Egyptian life, history, philosophy, ideal patterns and symbols in my paintings. I’m an Artist, founder and head of the Sharm Art Studio in the city of Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt for the last 8 years. I was born in Siberia, Russia and started my artistic studies at an early age. My interest in creativity and art was supported by parents from childhood. Due to the specifics of  the work of my parents, had to travel a lot, this was reflected in   the future on my creations.  At the age of 22  I moved to Egypt where I have been living  and creating for more than 20. In 2007 I moved with my beloved  husband to the South Sinai. My always supportive and  understanding husband Hatem and two wonderful children Hamza and Aya are the primary  source of my inspiration and my movement forward.

I like to create square-format paintings using modern painting techniques combined with classical techniques. In my paintings I try to convey the connection between the past and present. I like to paint stylized portraits using the symbols of ancient Egypt.
