The main idea of ​​the painting is the origin of art and connection with contemporary art.
The painting depicts a portrait of the famous Egyptian actress and dancer Mona El Said. Mona’s face is decorated with one of the oldest symbols -“flower of life” (meaning the origin of everything). Her hair is covered with ancient Egyptian patterns and identifying the connection between modern and ancient art. At the bottom of the picture in the right corner is the goddess of ancient Egypt Meret ( also spelled Mert). This goddess is the patroness of dance, music and singing.
