The painting depicts the legendary Nile River in a stylized way. This river was before and now important in the life of Egypt. Closer to the upper edge of the picture (in the Delta region) ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs denoting the Nile River (Yatrau (jtrw)) are depicted. The picture created in mixed media technique using texture paste and acrylic.
